another yawn session. and I could almost swear I could see it in the eyes of the actors. prime example was the dinner scene b/w Jenny and the vet...I kept waiting for some good convo and it never happened...nothing revealing really.

the previews for next week looked ok...kinda interesting, but I'm not holding out hope.

you think? i enjoyed it, sort of. i had to d/l this week since i don't have access to cable, so i just got a chance to watch it now.

i'm utterly horrified by jenny's storyline. it's completely ****ing lame. i can't believe they're trying to sell us this ****. i do not buy that pathological navel gazer jenny would turn into a stalking psychopath, no i do not. the girl could barely handle taking orders at hank's 59, are we supposed to believe she could really pull together this scheme? whatever. it's cheap and it's stealing screen time away from jennifer beals and marlee matlin. ****ers.

poor phyllis. she pulled out the "i love you" so early ... i feel her pain. it sucks to dig someone more profoundly than they dig you, but whatchagonnado. she needs to clean up her loose ends before moving into l-town.

can we talk about jbeals and marlee matlin now? please, god, please, i will relinquish all my worldly goods if i get to see them gititawn next episode. of course, why would i even question that it would happen ... that whole smoking-a-joint scene was such calculated, predictable foreplay. alls i have to say is that if i have to go one more goddamn season without seeing some JB skin i will surely wither and die. ilene chaiken, if you're reading this - you're already responsible for killingn dana, do you really want my blood on your hands too???

angus and nanny robot, whatever. i'm just pretending it's not happening because it's so. ****ing. lame.

did i mention i really want to see jbeals and mm do it? like, really bad? c'mon, tv gods. don't let me down again. (ooh, B/N reference! count it!)

oh, i also have to express my displeasure at the juxtaposition of nanny robot going down on angstus and kit saying that "angus has been so down on himself lately." puh-lease.

i'm not 150, but i feel like phyllis and i have so much in common, especially in the "naivete" category. i really empathize with her. plus i <3 cybill.

dude. no. i can barely contain my vomit when tina and henry or kit and angstus get lovey-dovey ... but if there were no chicks involved? good night.

I don't think that either the "manny" or the nanny are attractive. Kit could do so much better, imo and really, how does Angus even measure up against the men she's dated in the past? I'm interested to see what goes down this week when JB tells Kit of Angus's cheating...if she tells him at all.

And speaking of going down...

I'm usually, how should I put this? Less than impressed with the dialog of the L Word (and obviously I'm not alone). I did appreciate Kit's unintentional quip last week directly after the scene with the nanny though, "Angus has been so down on himself lately." Pam's delivery was great and it was one of the few "laugh out loud" moments I've had with the show lately that haven't involved Alice. And while we're on the subject of writing, how about EZ Girl writing the basketball episode the other week? Because it's not bad enough that we have to deal with the already over saturation of Betty, let's have them write the damn show.

my prediction is that JB won't tell her, but it'll turn into some huge thing and tina will burst into the room with her weird shaky head thing (NOTE TO LAUREL HOLLOMAN: YOU USED TO BE ABLE TO ACT, PLEASE FUKC OFF) and spill the beans. or something like that. but the weird shaky head thing will be utilized.

i actually like angus despite his whininess. so shut up h8rz.

I love Kit...but I'm kind of hoping this bring about a relapse for her. I just think it would spice up the plot line a little and it might bring the focus back on the main characters. All these new add ons are getting to me. Papi? Everytime she's on screen I have to ask myself if this is really happening. If Kit goes back to the bottle, though, we could see Bette's reaction, then maybe Tina goes to comfort Bette...Jenny flips **** over it...Alice makes some snappy comment to put Jen in her place...Shane comes to her girl's defense...and bam, we'd actually have a worthwhile episode.

you're right ... that would be interesting!

we need to bring it back to one, people. bette, alice, kit. start from the center and work out. it's too ****ing schizo now.

That brings up the question...who really is the center? IMO, it started out being Jenny but then the show morphed into one more about a group of women as opposed to one woman. I have this horrible fear that it's going to now go from a group to a f*cking city of women with the acting "skillz" of Papi.

Unless we're Dana. Then it's the way we're chopped off the bike in photoshop.
