Ah the Gap Band, Great music for a Tulsa act "Dropped A Bomb on Me" is a classic! Thank God for the "Tulsa Sound", which included artists such as J.J. Cale, Leon "GOD!!!" Russell, The Gap Band and later some guy named Clapton who used to be in T-town all the frikkin time when I was a kid, the dude was like a bad penny, he kept showing up everywhere in Tulsa.

Well, let's see...Eric's band from 74-80 included:

Jamie Oldaker (from Tulsa)
Carl Radle (from Tulsa)
Dick Sims (from Tulsa)

So, I kind of think that Eric would be scrounging around town quite a bit in those days.

Heres one - Emmylou Harris considers 1975s "Pieces of the Sky" to be her first solo album, but in reality, she released an independent release in 1969 - what was the name of this album?
