Shall I call my mom and tell her to come on here? She can talk with you about it.

I've sort of drifted into following The Young And The Restless just because of the channel and time it's on. I used to be hooked on Santa Barbera way back, anyone remember that and Cruz Castilo? After that i was hooked on Home And Away from Australia, and also a Venezuelan soap dubbed into English called The Lady Of The Rose, until both of those were dropped. Then I got hooked on some British soaps and just this year they dropped my favorite of those, Emmerdale, and I'm thinking of swearing off soaps for good. I even wrote to the network complaining, and yet they have money for Simpsons and Fraser reruns? Bah. Maybe I will go American yet, at least they don't move them around the time slots or drop them when there is a big storyline going on. I have watched General Hospital a few times over the years too. Gosh, that was ages ago with the Luke and Laura storylines! Christopher Cross was the hot new singer... My Mom used to watch The Edge Of Night when I was growing up. I think it even had organ music!

Mona, Erica's mom died a long time ago, as did the actress who played her in real life. Are you thinking Myrtle?

I used to watch regularly, now not so much. I'm way more of a General Hospital fan. I still read the Soap Opera Digest, and I'm finding the Zarf/Zoe storyline kind of intriguing. Although I hate how they cancelled out the groundbreaking story of Erica's abortion.

yes Myrtle. you're right.

the Zarf/Zoe thing needs to move along, as do the Fusion murders...but I am dying to know Zach's connection.
