A year sounds pretty decent.

ooh, only two more minutes before the new year. Good, get the hell out of here, 2006. I'm sick of you!

Two minutes!! - that means you're 16 hours behind us

Yeah, I am thinking about a year. We must discuss this more, but through PMs

Looks like! Well, that was fairly anticlimactic.

FWIW, I would move to southern Ontario in a heartbeat. Not necessarily Toronto, as housing prices are through the roof, well compared to London or Hamilton, anyway. My standards are pretty low. If the town is within an hour of a major city (i.e. a city that will likely get the good shows, or be within two hours of the show) AND have a hockey team, then that's where I'd like to be. Actually, Dayton meets this criteria, so I'm good here. But, I'd still love to be in Ontario. Or, maybe Nova Scotia (I love Halifax..."MacDougall" isn't a weird name there). I love Canada. It's where I go to get away from the fog that is everyday American life. I never feel scared about the unknown whenever I'm there. It's where I go to get the two minutes or so of clarity that gets me through. Even my mother says she thinks I'll be a Canadian citizen someday.

Hell, I've seen Gordon Lightfoot at Massey Hall, and the Guess Who at the Freedom Festival in Windsor (on July 4th)! I've had poutine...at a hockey game! I own a guitar that was made in Canada...just because it was MADE in Canada. And, I've never applied to get my GST $$$ back from Revenue Canada for the taxes I've paid.

However, I have a house payment and a career choice that has limited potential for men, so I doubt that will happen anytime soon. Someday, though, I'm pretty sure it will happen. And I look forward to that day. Luckily for me, I could start working in Canada under NAFTA, as Social Workers fall under that umbrella.

Tom & I Stayed home with our 2 dogs and watched our new wide screen TV we just received as a gift! We drank Pom-tini's and watched the dogs tear thru their XMas stockings. Tom made dinner and we finally opened presents since we were out of town at Christmas. I have it rough huh....?!

Sounds like a wonderful night!

I spent the night at a friend's house because my best, Emily was waaaaaaaaay too cocked to do anything or drive anywhere.

Naturally.

Wish YOU were there, just so you could've taken the Cosmopolitans out of a few people's hands.

Aw, nice evening.

I joined my good friends and their little girl at the beach for their ritual of throwing flowers in the ocean while expressing gratitude for good things in 06 and making wishes for 07. I did wish for a new Stevie setlist, among other things, so we'll know in March if there really is a God.

Then I had dinner out with a friend and we went to one of my favorite bars for a small (and pretty bad) drag show and blowing horns and all that. Just horns.

I'm not too hungover and now off to find pancakes.
