michelle2677 · #1 12-21-2006, 07:14 PM

well. I'm going to refer back to my "So I'm bitter" thread, and recapture all of the P*ssed off songs stevie has written and sang.

So here they are-in no particular order other than what was posted in the thread.

also-when we get down to ten, I'm going to make it a poll. Much easier!!!

vote for which you think is the least angry song.

Here. we. Go.

1. Planets of the Universe

2. Silver Springs

3.Smile at You (angry demo version)

4.Dreams

5. Freedom

6. Long Way To Go

7. No Spoken Word

8. Trouble In Shangri-La

9.Thousand Days

10.Outside the Rain

11.Christian

12.That's Alright

13. Bombay Sapphires

14. Fall From Grace

15.Space Needle

16.Twisted

17.Wild Heart

Voting for the first round will end tomorrow, friday the 22 @ 2:00 central standard time.

ps. this is my first survivor, so if I'm not doing something right-let me know.

Christian

I love it, but definitely not pissed off enough.

amber · #9 12-21-2006, 09:03 PM

Err...I don't really know Christian, I'll have to review. In light of that -
I'll go with OTR. It's more sad than angry. Or, if the words are more angry than I'm giving it credit for, the melody isn't that sad, so it balances out. Space Needle would be next for the same reasons. Sad, angrily sad, but not angry saddily.
Plus, OTR pisses me off.

But she's been waiting! And she was crazy to wait on him! It makes me mad to wait...

But seriously, I think That's Alright is much more passive aggressively angry than you would suspect. Like, if you filled in the words that weren't present in the lyrics, but probably present in the mind, it would be kind of like this: "Fine! I hope you find a love, (a-hole), you're own designs of love (psychotic and immature) and that's alright (it's gonna have to be, cause you are LAME!)."

That's Alright.
