lol...I've been there....

I was pissed for stupid stupid reasons...

1) An announcement went out early this month that mine and a co-workers birthdays would be celebrated at our monthly staff meeting. This always means cake.

We didn't get any damn cake. We got a shoddy fruit and cheese platter and some stale crackers...and some left over juice and V8 was put out too

I felt totally gyped...and luckily wasn't the only one - the co-worker made a loud snarky comment about how she and I were going to buy a cupcake and sing happy birtday to each other....so I am so bitter that we didn't get a cake...everyone ELSE gets cake

2) We're doing a Secret Santa thing at work - one little gift every day, a bigger one on Friday.

I have gotten the dumbest and most thoughtless **** from my ss. I put all this time and effort into making my gifts cute and thoughtful etc....and I get crap in return. I know...that's so not the spirit...and I realize how petty I'm being....and it's better to give than receive blah blah blah whatever...I don't want crap.

I'm so not participating next year



Ok...those were the ridiculous reasons I was pissed off last night, all in all I just felt like ****...and I went to be so early and as a result of my negative focus I had the worst dreams....



*tries to shift attitude* I hope today is better.....


/vent.
