This chick is awesome....she has a great book about her weight loss journey but the winner, for me, is always the cards

Totally hilarious. I would not go near those dishes if my life depended on it. They sure weren't picky in the 70's.

These cards disturb me so much But her commentary on them is so funny...I find it hard to believe people even attempted making or eating some of these things...*shudder*

My favorite:

We don't know who "Marcy" is, only that she thinks "enchilada" is wacky Mexican talk for "**** on a shingle."

The runner-up:

Sometimes salmon will come to the big city full of dreams. Only to wind up used, and mangled, and reconstituted, and all tarted up in some kind of sick, horrifying salmon drag.

Look, it's still trying to spawn. With lemons. It's confused. Oh, man, so sad.

It's even more heartbreaking when they're young.

Last summer at a garage sale I thought I hit the mother load - a full set of recipe cards from the early 80's. Yeah. No. There's all kinds of weird gross sh*t in there. There's $2 I'll never get back.

Yeah..those are way disturbing...as is the Makerel pudding. I mean they totally sound like jokes...but were at one time seriously presented as food options. It's so gross..

the gelatinous thing with the pimentos and green beans tests my gag reflex on sight alone.

Exactly. I wonder if anyone actually made and ate this crap. A couple of them literally look like crap!

OMG! The tears are streaming down my face, and my mascara is running, and my child think's somethings wrong with me because I'm seriously laughing so damn hard I can't breathe, and I'm crying. I thought she was gonna call 911 there for a minute. Thanks, Deanna. Best laugh I've had in a very long time!
