That bartender was really cute, so I was pretty embarrassed, but we got together later anyway.
See, the problem with his drinks was that they were mixed, and I was lulled by the candy. That's why I say I like to sip somthng straight and strong, cuz it slows me down.
oh god ... the embarrassment is far worse than getting sick afterward. god, i can barely even bring myself to think about my work xmas party last year, or my boss's wedding last summer ... when my drunk ass spilled red wine all over my his white carpet.

my lowest point was getting completely blitzed, propositioning a coworker ( ), getting rejected, and then getting so drunk i couldn't move, only to wake up the next day to find i had left my car windows down, and it had stormed. fab!

Ugh.

I drank waaaaaaay too much last night and I am certainly paying the price today. Ah, but it was worth it. I danced my ass off and had the time of my life with some great friends. Still, I think I may take it easy for awhile. Oh, who am I kidding, I'm going to Guns n' Roses on Wednesday.

Wine stains = Patina of life
He should thank you, it's good luck to spill a little wine at a party, and besides having white carpet is self-punishing (IMO)

Well, I think he did that to you on purpose. I went to my friend's brother's party on Wed before Thanksgiving and he handed me drink after drink trying to loosen me up. So to speak. Damn bartenders.

Oh yes, of course he did, but he should have waited to liquor me up till the end of his shift.
I was passed out before he served his last customer.
None of us in the late 80's scene SF could have afforded all of the fun we had, if we hadn't been slinging free drinks at each other. We were basically passing the same 5 dollar tips back and forth.
So um, did the friend's brother plying you with drinks achieve his goal.
Oh don't answer!

It didn't seem right so I left without saying goodbye to anyone and left my coat behind. I don't even remember what I said to him. Oy!

*backs away slowly....*

I never, ever proposition people when drunk. Reading this story of yours made my cheeks redden. Actually, I never do that bad of things at all. I'm a little too nice, and...oh, that's right, I actually get pretty clumsy when I'm drunk. I mean, I'm sure everyone does, but I'm not used to it, and I still try to move fast and stuff. One night, a group of us had gone back to my apartment, and I was making snacks and pouring wine - the neighbor guy who had a girlfriend who wasn't there and he was a scorpio was flirting with me, and I cut myself with a knife and broke a wine glass within about five minutes of each other. He was agitating me and I was drunk. Bad combo. Taken a couple ass tumbles on my rollerblades going to fast around the corner. I think i had a little bike problem once. I always come up the next day with multiple mysterious bruises. The thing is, I'm not weaving and hobbling like other drunk people, I'm walking normal and fast and slamming into things. Good thing it doesn't hurt much when you are drunk.
During almost my whole 20's, too, I had good friends as bartenders, here and in Chico. Freedrinkapalooza. One of my friends here worked in 2 bars, and one in Chico did as well. So, double fun.
