Ummm - the D's voted for Iraq and as of this last year, I believe the majority of the Congressional D's support the war in that they agree (wisely IMO) that an immediate withdrawal would be the wrong decision. So, they are pretty much "stay the course" only "light."

As an aside, there was good article in Newsweek last week on how we should proceed in Iraq, which I mostly agree with:

You're right about past votes, but I think when Dems take over, they will take a completely different stand. I expect a vote for timed withdrawal...not immediate, but timed. And Lieberman won't support that.

PA had the most calls regarding voter irregularities today.

Chelsea Clinton was registered in the wrong district and so had to use a provisional ballot.

I'm enjoying the BS on Faux News tonight, Those talking heads all look as if they have lost their best friend (More like an opposum in the headlights actually).

Way off topic, but all of this talk made me think of Chris Dodd, and how he outright lied to me, that motherf*ck.

Too bad he's in office until like, 2011.

Yeah. I hope this doesn't cause a big uproar.

I think you are correct, though the D's certainly have yet to reveal it

Actually, I think the D's will adopt the plan set forth in Newsweek, which was, in sum, drop over a year or so from 144,000 troops to 30,000 troops, make the sunni Triangle stable through Iraqi forces, and establish a Kursistan (note the Kurds are not fighting now) -- the article concedes that the initial process of the Iraqi takeover of responsibility to keep the peace will be horribly tumultuous, but they need to do it at some point and that time is now.
