Barely. Lieberman would keep this immoral war going on for decades.

Gay marriage....african-american governor...all Dems in House of Reps...if you had anything close to decent weather, I'd live there in a heartbeat.

besides now that Joe is Independent, I hardly think he can be counted on in Dem issues any more. I have a feeling he's gonna give Dems the finger.

Here are some sites:

http://www.joinarnold.com/site/c.jkI...The_Record.htm

http://www.dailygusto.com/news/augus...ld-082703.html

-- there are other more mainstream articles, but I thought these were somewhat clever

Again - I am not a advocate of Arnold, though I do think his personality is engaging, for what that is worth.

True, but Ned Lamont just reeked of asshole when I saw him up close in person.

It is. and he really hasn't been that bad...no worse than Gray Davis. But he's also done some crappy stuff that people don't pay attention to because he's so slick that he just has to say "I'm sorry" and it's all over.

Well, reeking of asshole isn't that great, but it's like:

Reeking of asshole, or immoral war in Iraq?

Wait...off to This Or That

I disagree -- he has been a good friend to the D's.

Yes, Lieberman will vote with the Dems except for the Iraq issue.

Well...The Repubs are getting slaughtered in Oklahoma bigtime:

They're losing (Or have lost) the following State Offices to the Democrats (Most due to re-election):
Governor
Lt.Governor
State Auditor
Attorney General
Treasurer
Superintendent for Public Instruction
Commissioner of Labor
Insurance Commissioner

But the Repubs have kept 4 of the 5 US Congressional seats for Oklahoma (David Boren, the lone Democrat from the Boren family political dynasty, was re-elected) and they may keep Corporation Commissioner.

Well, it is warmer here than it's ever been! But that has nothing to do with the lefties. But yeah, we have about 10 mos of winter. It's actually been mild so far (knocks wood). We had some chilly weather this weekend though and freezing lows.

I really don't think so. I disagree with his policy positions, but I think the man is decent and a Democrat at heart.

So...Dems SWEEP all contested races in Indiana and will likely take Nancy Johnson's seat in CT.

So glad that Santorum is gone. Thank you Dan Savage. I would have preferred video of Santorum with a dick in his mouth, but I'll settle for him being gone.

I'm not totally thrilled with Arnold, but he's okay. I hate Angelides. And Cruz Bustamente, who I prefer to call Crusty Bustamove.

Voting was fun this year. I voted no on almost all the damned initiatives. No more money being spent ! Looking like a good night for Dems, so some balance might be restored on a national level. I just hope at least a few of them are strong on the whole immigration fiasco.
