Steinman and Stevie is to kill or die for.... I've thought that for a very long time. He'd bring something absolutely wicked out of her. *dreams*

Failing that, I'd love to hear Robert Smith and Stevie do something....

Pet Shop Boys have some really brilliant songs (West End Girls has been top of my playlist for the last week) but with Stevie? I can't see it working....!

I think she would. Stevie's shown a capacity to keep up with current (or then-current) musical acts. She mentioned MAROON 5 for Chrissakes!

So next to the annoying Lindsey article in today's SF Chronicle is a very nice one about the Pet Shop Boys. In which Neil reiterates his desire to work with Stevie.

After everything they've done in the past 20 years, is there anyone the Pet Shop Boys still dream about collaborating with?

"We wanted to work with Nina Simone," Tennant says of the singer-pianist-composer, who died in 2003. "We were always too shy to ask her. Chris would like to make a record with Randy Crawford, who is a great vocalist, and I'd like to work with Stevie Nicks. I recently heard her song 'Has Anyone Ever Written Anything for You?' and her husky vocals really impressed me. So if you're reading this, Stevie, give us a call."

It would quite possibly get her a hit single though

Something Dustyesque would be superb!!
