Just today I compared the length of the album cut and the version on the Elizabethtown soundtrack and there's about a minute and a half cut from the album version. Anyone know why Lindsey cut it?

The same reason he messed with Peacekeeper Solo version. He's mad!

yeah sometimes I want him to fall in love with somebody who just takes away the gems from him, before he goes over the top with them.

I don't know either... That little interlude of just the guitar makes a big difference (for me) in the song.

i have to agree. i think i'm going to replace the UTS version with the Elizabethtown version for my ipod.
it can have been just for the sake of economy. like a writer - trying to say more with less. i think Lindsey when out of his way on this album to not do much show-off over the top guitar playing. sort of the opposite of Say You Will |
