Rosie is funny. I actually liked Rosie in this video and her Morticia Addams and Stevie Nicks joke was pretty funny

Madonna acted like a jerk though.

That was back when Madonna had a NY accent. Before she became a Brit.

Rosie just acted kind of nervous- we know she adores Stevie.

I know - poor Madonna -- always changing and never seemingly comfortable in her own skin.

Interestingly and as an aside - - Rosie was on VH-1 in like 1987 and said that she had Thanksgiving dinner at someone's house where there were a bunch of people and La Nicks was one of them. I think I am remembering this correctly. In fact, Rosie was sort of a V-Jay there for awhile -- or, i may just be having an X flashback to my college days

Like most comics, Rosie pokes fun at everyone. But it looks like Rosie felt especially pressured to come up with something witty when Madonna put her on the spot. Stevie's fashion is always an easy target.

Yes, Rosie was on VH-1...either as a V-J or she hosted something...or did stand-up _ I can't remember now

But I remember watching tons of VH-1 because of Rosie...and the ALOTO connection....

Hey, I think your RIGHT! As I totally asked her about that rumor when I was backstage before doing the opening intro that she chose me for at her show in December of 1998! But just in case, I will e-mail her that question now and wait for an answer and post it when she responds!

The only thing I ever ask any of the celebrities/musicians or anyone is about my fascination (Alright...I'll admit it! Borderline obsession!) with La Nicks! And she said she felt the same about her too. Not on the same level as Barbra Streisand (which is how I feel about Stevie!

) BUT she does count her in her top 5! I was so impressed with her that day...and Whoopi Goldberg, who I also introduced (along with Angelina Jolie, Susan Sarandon and Shawn Mullins).

I'll post the video of Rosie and I clowning on YouTube.com as soon as I can...I've tried before, but it is such a long clip that I have to cut it down on the DVD that I burned from the VHS they sent. I have on lame reindeer antlers and she does a dolphin impersonation for those of you that were avid watchers/fans like me!

lol. That was... interesting. I couldn't stand to watch all of it, though. I barely survived watching what came before the Stevie mention. Can't stomach Madonna at all. Nice NY accent, you Michigander!
