Default Baseball awards

So it's getting pretty close to the end of the season here and I thought I'd share some thoughts on who may win some of the postseason awards. Feel free to share your own ideas if you wish.

AL MVP: Justin Morneau, possibly Derek Jeter
AL CY YOUNG: Johan Santana
Manager of the year: Jim Leyland

NL MVP: Ryan Howard
NL CY YOUNG: Carlos Zambrano
Manager of the year: Willie Randolph

I'm not familiar enough with all of the rookies to make a good prediction on who will take that award in each league. October is getting close!

though the Twins manager should get a nod as manager of the year in AL (The Leyland led Tigers are looking very Atlanta Brave-ish with choking-But that's cool, I am a longtime Twins fan)

I definitely agree with NL CY YOUNG: Carlos Zambrano (Cubs), he has been the Ace/Work-horse of the staff and the overlooked pitcher in the NL.

That NL CY YOUNG race is pretty wide open it seems. No one is going to win 20 in the NL, so I think it'll be close.

Exclamation Speaking of baseball....

tomorrow night on ESPN 2 at 7PM EST/6PM CST is the Triple AAA Championship between the International League champs Toledo and the Pacific Coast League champs Tucson, which will take place at the AT&T (Formerly SBC) Bricktown Ballpark in downtown OKC.

This is what I would like to see:

AL MVP: Derek Jeter
AL CY YOUNG: Johan Santana
Manager of the year: Joe Torre

NL MVP: Ryan Howard
NL CY YOUNG: Carlos Zambrano
Manager of the year: Wille Randolph

So basically I only changed the manager and MVP.

As for ROY, I'd like to see Papelbon in the AL and maybe one of the guys from the Marlins in the NL.
