I'm pretty sure it's still on. They actually took our table reservation the other day.

umm, wait a sec. I thought Lindsey's site was announcing when sales were to be announced for each venue or am I misunderstanding something? I want to go to this show, so am keeping my eyes peeled on Lindsey's site and the venue site as well as ticketmaster.

This venue is general admission and it will be a table show, so if you want to sit at a table, you need to reserve one in advance. We had bought our tickets for the show back when they were on sale for like a day. If you remember, it was put up on Ticketmaster and then taken down soon after. The tickets have not gone back onsale yet. I'm assuming Lindsey's site will announce the new onsale date when they have one. What I want to know is what the heck they're waiting for!

Default I was hoping

Lindsey would play the 9:30 club in D.C., but the State Theater works... I'll cross the river to see him. I'm a stander, so general admission works for me.

Keeping my fingers crossed that the show is a go.. Red Rover has made it into my top ten on my ipod.. I hope he plays it.

I was told it is up to the artist whether they want people to stand up by the stage..in front of the tables. I booked one just in case but I am sort of doubting we will need them.

Standing for me is okay, I want to be somewhat close to the stage hopefully.
What is your experience on parking? I just read the parking info. on the venue site, man what a hassle. I guess rule of thumb is to get there as early as possible.

Yeah, Lindsey will probably want standers. I'm hoping that holding a front row table will be like having front row seats, meaning you can usually move right up to the stage. I don't know though, do we still have to get there 10 hours early in order to be the first people in line and ensure our place at the stage? The shows I've been to at this theater have not been table shows and I haven't cared about being at the stage, so this will be new.

In my experience, parking is possible if you get there at a decent time. You may just have to walk a little bit.

I thought that the purpose of the tables was if someone wanted to eat at the show. I thought that there was an open area in front of the stage and the tables were behind it. The standing area looks small.

I actually ended up booking a table for two with the intent of having dinner there. I was planning on standing up front but am on the short side, so not sure what kind of view I would get. So, since the tables are higher up on platforms, I thought it was the best case scenario for me.

I also got my tickets in the mail today. YAY !!
