People who drive through crosswalks just because the pedestrian isn't in their half of it yet.

I hate the crosswalk driving thing too - and deal with it every single day as I have to cross two streets on foot to get to work

Pet peeve:

People who apparently take rented dvds and grind them along the pavement. It's the only explanation I can think of for how these things get SO scratched....

^^^People walking in the street, while talking on their cell phone. This woman walked out into the street in Nashville, RIGHT in front of my truck. Lucky for her, that I was paying attention. I rolled down the window and said, "You need to get your ass off the phone, and pay attention to where you're walking! I almost hit you!".

I got APPLAUSE from the sidewalk!

Wow, this just happened to me too except the guy was a bit further in front of me so I didn't have to jack on my brakes. I also didn't get to yell at him. I love the applause you got .

People with Hybrid cars in the carpool lane of the freeway who can't even go the 55 minimum. AND, who won't get the f*** outta the way when there's a backup of 5-10 cars behind them.

Then once you finally can get around them, you find out they're on their f***ing cell phone.

I don't know why I didn't think of this before. My supreme pet peeve is labeling. I mean, obtrusive labels on clothing (got to get out the seam ripper, and take that label off,) sticky labels on books, and security labels on DVDs and CDs.
I get really annoyed when I try to remove a label, and the removal takes an hour, and then damages the item.
Grrrrr!
I guess I should stop buying things.

Yeah, that wasn't an accident (thought it looked like a cd label) but now that I think about it, it won't make sense in another thread. I will removed it now, with some gasoline, and a blow torch.

Opening a CD is the worst. I hate those plastic packages you have to cut open too. I always feel like they are going to cut me open!
