Default Most irritating fan moments

Okay, since there are funny fan moments, there are also some pretty awful fan moments. In 1998, I went to the Enchanted Tour concert at what then was called the Universal Ampitheatre in LA. At the very beginning of Landslide, the young woman sitting right behind me called a friend on her cell phone and started yelling, "You'll never believe where I am. This guy brought me to this concert. I don't know who she is, but listen. Isn't that great?" And then she proceeded to have a conversation about whether or not she would be going home with the guy.

This maybe wouldn't bug some people, but it bugged the piss outta me:

During BATB in Vegas on the Saturday (her last show out of 4), people wouldn't stop screaming things like, "we love you Stevie" and "you got it baby" and "WOOOOOOOOOOO". Anyway, this really chaffed my ass because she was singing it just so beautifully, she was having a moment and several douchebags felt the need to scream at her. And continue screaming. And then I heard a bootleg of that night and the screaming was louder than the recording of her singing.

Anyway, maybe it was the direct comparison of seeing her on the Tuesday and you could hear a pin drop when she sang. No one made a peep. So moving.

I was content with screaming my face off between songs, or during kicks and twirls or other super-fab moments, but c'mon, BATB? Shut up already!
Well there's my rant.

I agree with everything you wrote. I was at that show on Saturday, and after Stevie sang "...timeless is the prisoner in disguise," some overwrought girl behind me screamed, "That's right, baby! You know it!" I was fortunate enough to have gotten myself right up front for that song so I wasn't as perturbed, but I, too, heard a boot that featured select members of the audience screaming over Stevie's vocal in the recording. I was at another show when I actually moved away from the stage because two very drunk girls started singing back to Stevie during the pauses in "Who is the beauty?" etc. Stevie was so involved in the song, too. I could probably come up with other moments that irritated me, but all of the shows I've seen have left me with such a positive feeling that all the irritating crap sort of fades away. Come to think of it, all the irritating crap in my life fades away, too, but then that's a different topic.

I've got a pretty good one, and it gets ugly. Read on:

I was at the Enchanted show in Cleveland near the back of the pavilion, and about 3 rows in front of me there were these 2 drunk beeyotches standing and raising their hands screaming at all times. People around me told them numerous times to tone it down, but they completely ignored them. If anything they got louder to sort of egg the other people on. Finally, people around me started throwing stuff at them and it really started to get nasty. So I finally stood up and looked right at these 2 losers and yelled as loud as I could "I came 700 miles to see this concert and I sure as hell didnt come to see you 2 losers. I'm giving you about 5 seconds to sit down and shut the F**K up, or youre going to deal with me! Understand? The look on their faces was one of utter horror. They sat down and no one heard a peep from them the rest of the night. The people around me were applauding me too. I thought that was kinda funny.

I find it to be completely rude to yell during one of her most dramatic performances. I am sure she sometimes wants to respond with a "STFU"

The story I'd really like to hear is if someone was at the Reno Fleetwood Mac show in 2003, the one where the massive brawl happened in the front row.

The only time I ever got really irritated with another fan at a concert was when a woman spilled beer on my Street Angel tour books, ruining the covers of both. Of course, they're totally hard to replace now.

I was at this show 2, but I was in the fifth row. Too bad.

At my first Stevie concert this one woman kept going up and down the stairs right next to me to get her beer. She was getting more and more drunk and obnoxious.

Finally she started the descent to her seat, but I guess she decided it was too much work. She sat down on the lap of the guy across the aisle from me, took her shirt off...and proceeded to grind on this guy.

Then she started unzipping his pants w/ her teeth - he stopped that but proceeded to make out with her...yeah...finally a friend came up and got her - but GOod God.

Don't blame it on her, blame it on her wild....okay maybe not her heart, but you get the idea.

Exclamation Well...

it is hard pressed to more irritating than to have a beer-salesperson hocking his wares as Fleetwood Mac played on stage, which was the case in Dallas 2003.

I was, however, fondled by a rather drunken (But cute) woman at the Dallas 2004 Mac show. But hell, She tried to fondle every other guy in the aisle I was in, including those there with their significant others in tow. I guess I won out for 'Bimbolina' since Deb isnt a fan and stayed back at the hotel.

Kinda humorous, but seated next to me at the 2003 FM show in OKC were 2 preppy dressed guys. They looked rather tough & athletic (Kinda like guys who played either football or rugby), until "Landslide" started, then they proceeded to act rather 'effiminate" with their body language (Which doesnt bother me-I'm not homo-phobic!) and were getting annoying loud with the girlish squeals "Oh My Girl...Landslide...EEEEEEE!" (The squealing was like that by some 10-12 yr old girls who just saw one of their boyband heart-throbs)

I remember the Ledge's own Livia looking back at me and I tried to motion to her with my head, to check out these 2 guys...I just shook my head side-to-side.

Seems I am always seated next to characters...Oh well, At least it is worth a laugh.

As for a Stevie concerts, nothing out of the ordinary happened that I found memorable to post.

Ya I agree at any Stevie concerts or any concerts.I can't stand dealing with drunks and loudmouths as all of you said.If you come in drunk, get the F2$K out. I can't stand going home smelliing like beer.ok loudmouths and people who talk through the show especially they talk loud through the quiet songs.errrr I can't stand that, I have to turn around and tell them to put a sock in it, to shut the F86K up.ya driving 100's of miles to see Stevie or Fleetwood Mac live and put up with these a$$hole two year olds,My message to them, stay the F86K home.
