The way I read what the press have said is that she'll be there for the 2nd and third legs of the tour beginning July 29th - so your two shows should be a sure thing to see SN.

thanks - i appreciate it. both shows are 6-8 hour drives away for me, and would involve taking time off work. and really, making the trip would be primarily to see "insider" live.

It is such a treat. Greek is the best outdoor venue in the area and of course the weather will be stunning that time of year.

My parents are going with me to the Saturday show, which will be like full circle since my mom took me to see TP in '81 for my first concert.

Well the latest news suggests you can just go to Darien Lake, Stevie's gonna be there.

Come to San Diego Paula! You can make it into a mini-vacation. Plus, good seats are easier to find than in LA. (Unless you know someone "in the business" of course.)

Back off. Berkeley is way better, and she's my friend. It would be hella easier to see two shows here. And cheaper. And less drivey. And she can have a mini vacation here, hello! She can see the historic gay bar right by my house, and the historic other bars right by my house, and the berkeley campus...

Oh, and there might be some cool stuff in SF she could make a vacation of...I hear tourists like it over there...

Mariel & I were discussing this today - if I can get 100% confirmation of this, I will absolutely go to the Darien Lake show for sure. But I'd love to go to Cali too. If I can figure some things out.

My thoughts are: fly to LA Thurs, hang with Ry & maybe meet a few Ledgies for drinks, drive up to Amber's Friday, go to one of the shows one night & hang the other night (or both shows, but one night would def. have to be lawn), then drive down the Pacific Coast Highway back to LA Sunday, fly home Monday. In my dream world, where I have a disposable income & no responsibilities, that is.

It may end up being furiously searching for a good ticket for the Darien Lake show here (since they've been on sale for weeks ), get home from work that day, drive the 45 minutes to stupid Darien, meet nobody & have nobody to hang with (well, hopefully Hawkeye), see the show, drive home. Blah. Just doesn't sound as fun. Easier & cheaper, yes. But not as much fun.

AMber gets vicious if she thinks you are trying to scam her pals away from her. Don't take it personally.

Which part made you think I wasn't kidding?
No I don't, Sparky, I was kidding. I thought that would be totally obvious, but i guess not. Especially to someone who's been on this board a lot like Jkmaletic. I'll have to remember to be more literal all the time. How fun. I guess even really obvious things aren't obvious. Let me help for next time: See those smiley green things at the end of my post? Those signal that I am joking.
