Pronunciation of Christine's first name - Page 2

i actually met someone last year who was shocked to discover that her name was indeed christine, and not christie. too bad i don't have their email, i'd send them a link to this thread for pronunciation tips!

Before I got internet access, I used to buy my CDs at Borders. I went in there sometime after the Dance had come out & I happened to see Christine's solo album on CD. When I got to the check out, the clerk saw the CD & referred to Chris as "Christie McVi", with the i pronounced as "eye". She got both her first & last names wrong.

I didn't correct her since I was so happy to finally get that album on CD!
