As so many "artists" are doing now, someone has taken Stand Back, put a new beat on it and stuck a trashy, tacky vocal on it by some blonde twig and done a dance or "niece" version of it. Has anyone heard it? It is AWFUL! It doesn't have the power or rawness that Stevie put into that vocal...it is just plain ****! There is one of 'Everywhere' floating around as well.

I have not heard the mix you are talking about or at least I do not think I have but to be totally honest IT DOES NOT SUPRISE ME THAT SOMEONE WOULD DO A CRAPPY VERSION AND RELEASE IT JUST TO MAKE A FEW BUCKS.

is it Linus Loves? I actually like it. it is different, but different isn't always bad.
and the cashflow extends to Stevie as well...which is good. |

me too. I think Stand Back is the only song of Stevie's that no matter how many times you remix it or try to change it, it'll STILL sound good. |
