Madonna's New Video

Love her or hate her, but Madonna's new video is pretty damn cool.

Check it out - the animation reminds me of Heavy Metal, only waaaaaay better. But it has that feel to it...

Many of the Madonna diehards hate it (lemme tell ya, that bunch is far more hypercritical than anyone around here!), but I think it's pretty awesome.

Of course, I also liked the "Sorry" video.

Since seeing her in concert twice this last month, I can't get enough of her. Could care less how fab or not fab the video is...it's this song, the album as a whole and her. WONDERFUL!

Yes, it TOTALLY has HM vibes to it!

Same here -- those two songs rock my world. This video is kind of odd though.

The song makes up for it though

I didn't click on this yet ... but what is the name of the new song? I read the thread twice but didn't see any mention? It's killing me!

HATE IT!!!! That reminds me of those 2 gay black guys that used to be on In Living Color.

I love the vid... I was kind of surprised they went with it for the next single... I expected "Jump" to be next - but what ever.

Are any of you Ledge Madonna fans collectors? If so, could you PM me? Am desperately looking for someone that has boots to trade. Trying to find a webring/trader amongst the gazillion pages devoted to Madonna is a nightmare. Also, Absolute Madonna has some free shows to dld, but for the love of Pete I can not, even on YouSend It, and it's DRIVING MY EFFING NUTS! Please if any of you have dlded this, & can share, I'd soup you up w/ Maddie or SN stuff. Thanx

What an awesome video. I love that it looks like nothing she's ever done. Well, that's our Madge!

I totally agree! I

this song! There's something about this song that reminds me of an old dance song from the 80's and I used to skate to it all the time at the rink.

The line "Baby we can do it, we can do it all right" is what I am referring to , and the song was from a funk/soul group called the S.O.S Band. They have a website on Myspace here where you can hear their hits. I'll have to upload it for ya'll to hear if someone is interested.

As far as the video goes, I love the retro look and feel! It does look more like a screensaver than a video though, so I can understand why some prefer seeing more of her than the art feel of it. I do miss seeing her fabulous dancing in this video, cause girlfriend can dance! She has so totally embraced the 70's dance phase (she's gone all ABBA on us, which is fine with me with the hair and all!) but she has added her own flair to it just enough to make it new enough to be a "craze" or "phase" of some sort. Of course...I go through and like, listen and buy into her music each and everytime! Not like I do Stevie of course, because she is the actual poet/musician that writes and sings my feelings BUT I consider Madonna pure EAR CANDY!
