Default Isn't this cool?

Believe it or not, I've been listening to a Stevie Nicks song quite a bit the last few days. Some months back, goldustsongbird posted this Tusk outtake of "Sisters Of The Moon" on the Seven Wonders board & this version just hit me. There are terrific Chris/Stevie harmonies on this version. It's somewhat similar to the version on the Tusk bonus disc, but I think the Chris harmonies are more pronounced on this version. I like the album version, but this is my favorite version of this song, by far. I know there are those here who don't check out the Seven Wonders board, so here it is:

I wish those stupid nuts would post MPegs instead of Windows Media Audio. But if this is what I think it is, I have to say I'm not crazy about the Christine ooh-oohing in between stanzas.

You'd complain if you were hung with a new rope!

You need to make periodic posts about the material or performances of Stevie's you do like, rather than make these sweeping, blanket dismissals of Stevie when they aren't really accurate depictions of your thoughts. Look at me as a case in point: I post unapologetically about what I hate about Stevie, but I also post about what I like. So people (at least most people who know how to read) get a balanced & even more important an accurate sense of what I think. Whereas with you, you just want to give off this vibe of pure hatred of everything Stevie has ever done, which is just a theatrical thing on your part--as if it's a role in a movie you're playing.

On the old newsgroup, you used to post about how you loved this old performance of Rhiannon or that old album track or whatever, but here you dismiss everything & it seems to be just a characterization at this point that you feel you have to live up to ...? Be honest with me. Tell me what you think about each of the following:

1. "Rhiannon" at Madison Square Garden, June 30, 1977
2. "Rhiannon" on the Midnight Special, 1975/76
3. "Gold Dust Woman" on "Rumours"
4. "Blue Letter" harmony vocals on Trod Nossel Studios, 9.23.75

Add your own here!
