Surgery Tomorrow

I am finally having my damned gall bladder removed tomorrow. I will be in the hospital overnight, so won't be able to check in with my Ledgies until at least Friday.

Can you all think good thoughts for me? I seem to be having some major anxiety over this very simple procedure. Actually, it's the anesthesia that has me neurotic, which makes no sense because I've had general anesthesia 5 times with no problems. I keep having dreams that I don't wake once they've knocked me out.

I need a sedative, I think.

Take care of yourself, and good luck with your surgery. I know what you are going through, because I'm having surgery on June 12. Don't worry. Worrying only makes it worse. It will all be okay, and you'll be back on your feet in no time.

They've come a long way with anesthesia, try not to worry. And when you wake up - demorol drip - wheeee! At least that's what I had for my back surgery.

I will be thinking of you while I am in surgery. Mine is at 8:00 tomorrow morning. Ugh ~ I hate being put under. I have been having kidney problems for a while and hopefully after tomorrow I won't be in constant pain. Good luck to you!!
