It was amazing!!! One of the best shows I've ever been to! On a random note, Deborah was wearing this weird green sweatsuit thingy. I expected her to wear something more like a little black dress.

Oh, and the New Cars were awesome too!

Glad you had a great time. I've heard nothing but great reports about Blondie/Debbie live. Good to hear the new Cars are cool - I actually heard one of their songs on the radio, and it was pretty decent. It had that Cars sound, too. I happen to be listening to the Cars right now.
From what I've heard you can never "expect" Debbie to wear anything...

The Curse and No Exit are great, but my favorite is Plastic Letters. Or at least for the moment it is. My Blondie phases change just as fast as my Stevie phases.

I once saw Debbie Harry & Stevie Nicks perform together. They were both magnificent, I loved 'em!

That would have been something to see. What songs did they do?

They sang Walter Egan's "Blonde in a Blue T-Bird" & something by Vanilla Fudge.

Cool! Sorry to keep asking stuff, but what was the date? Venue? Do you know if there is audio/video/pics of this?

I never knew they performed together, what year was this.

Both Blondie and the New Cars rocked sat night in LA.

Not all of The Hunter is rubbish. Danceway & WarChild are 2 of my favorite all time A+ Blondie songs!

I've always had a thing for the Blondie song Island Of Lost Souls. It's great, but not on the best ofs that I know of. I don't even know what album it appeared on. Also liked Atomic when it came out and remember the reaction when Rapture debuted.

Thumbs up

Oh, I love Blondie. I've seen them live once at a small venue close to where I live. I was so close to Deborah Harry, I could have touched her, but instead I just blinded her with my flash taking a pictures of her & the band. They were great. Those who haven't seen them live just must.
