In all honesty I don't like the majority of her demos (with the exception of songs I know that have been released). I'm just not a big fan of under-produced, raw music and that's what a lot of her demos are. The ones I like tend to be completed songs with a few exceptions. I don't like 75% of Stevie's demos. Maybe if there were complete, produced songs I'd like them. I especially don't like the really old sounding ones that are poor quality. Some of the least favorites that come to mind are:
Goldfish and Ladybug
Amber
Dial the Number
Jimmy Come Back
The Dealer (sorry, can't stand it)
At the Fair
The Witch

Cathouse Blues is pretty annoying.

Oh, wow, really?? I think "My Heart" is an amazing song!

"All Over You" is the worst, IMO.

It doesn't make my ears bleed or anything, I just don't "feel" it. I'm awaiting my psych evaluation results.

AOY, if indeed 250% la Nicks is pretty goofy. I dig it, but just cause it sounds like people having fun...not like it should be released tomorrow. Nope.

I like that song, too. There's something unique about the music. If completed, I think it would've been suitable for a movie soundtrack.

Mine as well. Actually, I think it is one of Stevie's most well written songs and cannot imagine why she didn't use it for Trouble In Shangri-La.

I'm also not a fan of Annabelle Lee from TISL...YUK!
All the other ones mentiones previously- mabel and such, I do agree with EXCEPT SPACE NEEDLE...THAT SONG IS AB FAB!!!

Another song of which I am positively bewildered that Stevie never released.

Ooh ooh Baby is sooo haunting and beautiful! It literally brought me to tears once when I was going through a break up & heard this. I would love to hear it fully produced.

Space Needle is well written..."ooh the tar people are back!" love it!!!!

I don't mind the sax on Dial The Number. It seems to add to the message of the song.

Drum roll..............Lily Girl!....gets my vote for worst demo!

These are my "worst of the worst".

**Lily Girl
**That awful "Priest of Nothing" from the RAL tapes that surfaced last year
**All Over You
**Goldfish and Ladybug

Just about everything else has some redeeming factor.

Yes, I must add Goldfish and Ladybug to my list.

I actually have an interview from TOSOTM era...where she is being interviewed and starts talking about this song and getting very philosophical and you can literally hear someone in the background laughing their head off!

Yikes!

Maybe she can give this one to Madonna for one of her childrens books. He he.

The demos I like are usually the rawest form ones. For some reason I never really get much into the ones that are like semi-filled out with other instruments and stuff, when I listen to them I just itch for them to be produced fully.
