Default The Masters

Ok, I realize there probably arent too many golf fans here, but I thought I'd discuss the results of the Masters for a bit. Phil Mickelson won for his third Major and second in a row. I for one am REALLY happy for him because he took a ton of **** for a long time for not being able to win the big ones. Yeaterday he pretty much dominated, playing flawless golf until the last hole when he bogeyed, which by then didnt matter because he still won by 2 shots. Not to take anything away from Phil, because he definitely won it, someone else didnt lose it, but Tiger Woods missed at least 2 putts for Eagle on the back 9 inside of 7 feet. He's so well known for his clutch putting that it was really a surpise to me when he couldnt make the big ones on Sunday. But I think it's VERY good for golf that others besides Tiger can win Majors. This Tiger/Phil rivalry could end up being one of the best ever in golf if Phil can win a few more I think.

I follow golf a little bit. I do enjoy when Tiger has some competition; it's boring otherwise. I have heard some less than flattering things about Phil, though.

Anyway, my favorite golfers are the older group: Nick Faldo, Fred Couples, Tom Kite, and Greg Norman (my all-time favorite).

Yeah I only watch the majors pretty much. I'm not a real die hard either.
