Gold Dust Tour 2006 Summer Dates
Pollstar.com
March 30th Once again this summer Legendary Rock Star Stevie Nicks will be taking her Gold Dust 2006 Tour back out on the road in North America. After last summers successful American tour Stevie will be taking her Gold Dust Tour back through major markets, and some markets that were not played last summer. “You know, I just cant sit at home all summer and not go out and play you know. Its like totally satisfying after all these years to still go out there and play my hits for the crowds you know. This is going to be a different show than last year. We are going to mix it up some and bring a different setlist out there. I haven’t played Talk to Me in years, we might open up with that.”--Stevie Nicks The trek will kick off Thursday July 1st in Orlando FL., and will play through the end of August wrapping up in California. Paula Cole will be supporting during the August dates. The full tour schedule will be released Tuesday April 4th. Here are most of the cities that the tour will play: Orlando FL Tampa FL Mobile AL Atlanta GA Nashville TN Louisville KY Manassas VA NYC NY Albany NY Cleveland OH Lubbock TX Dallas TX Phoenix AZ Albuquerque NM Las Vegas NV Portland OR Seattle WA San Diego CA Los Angeles CA San Bernadino Music Festival CA Sacramento CA

Aaaaaaaaaaaargh! I so fell for that one! I was bitching to my sister that she was going to add another leg to the tour, and that she would probably be too exhausted to properly tour with the Mac next year, and that she should take a frikkin' break!
And then I came to the second post. Good one.

How did I possibly believe that Stevie said she would possibly open with "Talk to Me"? I was SO excited.
damn you all Although I was also thinking "This woman needs to take a f****** break". So I guess she is. Good for her. Maybe they'll open with "Talk to Me" on the Mac 2007 tour Adam

I was hoping it was a joke.If she had continued her oldies jukebox tour for another year without even bothering to change the name of the tour then it would have signaled a creative bankruptcy even more dismal than i had imagined.
