Okay, one more. Went in one night and found my daughter sound asleep like this. I take pictures of her a lot when she's sleeping, and she NEVER even stirs.

That was Gordie. Unfortunately he's passed on, but he was the best rat I've ever had. I used to take him to work with me everyday (work at a vet's office) and let him loose on the counter to greet clients. Most of them loved it.

I'm sorry about Gordie. That's cool, though, that you could take him to work. There's a law firm that I work with a lot that lets their employees bring in pets. The only thing I've seen are dogs, but it's so much fun to go there and see them. They just wander around the office. Every once in a while there's a tussle, but that's it.

It was terrible, he was in so much pain so when he was finally well it felt so good.

He never gets matted! Its amazing. The vet asked me if I had him groomed or if it was all him. He's pretty consistent about grooming LOTS. So when he was sick and his fur was all dirty and yucky it was so sad.

In this photo he had just groomed so much his fur is a bit wet.

Aren't they? I was at the urologist this morning and I have cats on my socks. The doctor saw them and said "oh, you're a cat person. I'm allergic to cats and don't like them." I said "I'm allergic, too, but I would never live without them."

Wow....does he have hairball issues? Beavis grooms Violet constantly and himself, though not as much, and gets hairballs on a regular basis.

He does! I try to brush him sometimes to help with that but can't always keep up with it.

I've got a couple of them, too, but not very many cute pictures. They run for cover whenever they see me with a camera.
