Have you seen Casanova, Richard? I saw it Friday and think it's one of his best; great script and an even better cast. Anything with Lena Olin is worth a look, anyway, and Sienna Miller & Heath Ledger are adorable in it. It's total fluff, but it's great fluff. I can't wait until it comes out DVD so I can make a Sunday afternoon of it and Chocolat. Still scratching my head over the R rating, though.

I am drooling to see it. I've heard good things, Diss, good things. Coming from you, I'm even more excited. I know we both have a thing for Lena Olin, so that's a given. How's Jeremy Irons in it?

I've heard the controversy about the R rating. Something about a suggestive "under the table" scene. It's probably appropriate for 5 year olds. The MPAA has gotten very conservative in their ratings in recent years.

Jeremy Irons is a hoot. You can tell he's having a ball. There's one scene between him and Oliver Platt that'll have you in stitches.

It was so mildly suggestive that it shouldn't have gotten anything more than a PG. It's just one big cream puff of a movie; completely harmless and fun. **** like Hostel and The Devil's Rejects, two of the sickest flicks I've ever seen, get R ratings and so does Casanova? It boggles the mind.
