Madonna's Next Single

[priestofnothing]

Yeah! my favorite song on the new Madonna CD - Sorry - is going to be the next single (release date 1/26/06). Happy New Year. :-)

Whoo hoo! This was my first fave on the album, too, after Hung Up. The first one that really grabbed me.

I also love Forbidden Love...

(hmm.. I haven't listened to Confessions in so long... it got put aside in favour of Jason Collett and Cyndi's Body Acoustic for the past little while. Must go back and listen again ).

[ontheEdgeof17]

Yup.

One of the only songs I like on the album.

I absolutely love this whole CD. Sorry was my first favorite too. But now I really like Jump and How High. I really love Let it Be too. I can't quit listening to it, it's addicting to me!

[Travis]

Sorry will have to grow on me, not a personal fave. But I absolutely love "Forbidden Love" and "Jump."

[gldstwmn]

I love Sorry. I also love Push. This is great. Thanks!

[GypsySorcerer]

"Sorry" is one of my faves from the Confessions album.

I'm in the same boat as you are... Excellent cd... it's played at least once a day!

Although this is some home grown remix... It will be interesting to see what the official remixers do with this track. With Hung Up, I was a little disappointed in the remixes which usually isn't the case with Madonna tracks, I usually like the remixes better then the original, but with Hung Up, I like the original better then the remix.

I love the album, and "Sorry" is my favorite song on there. I'm glad it's the second single... I think it has a lot of potential for a radio hit. I found a single edit recently, but I haven't been able to verify whether or not it's official. I'm actually hoping it's not, because it chops up the chorus too much for my tastes.

Has anyone had a chance to hear "Fighting Spirit"? It's the bonus track from the limited edition version of the album, and, in my opinion, it should have been an album track (replacing "I Love New York").

[MacMan]

Yeah, I've heard Fighting Spirit - not bad, but I prefer the New York track

There's also another bonus track called "Super Pop".

I love the SDP Extended Vocal remix, but the other "Hung Up" mixes don't really do anything for me.

I tend to prefer old-school remixes/extended versions best... the ones that basically sounded like a double-length version of the album track, with some extra keyboards and percussion added.

Do you really? I don't hate "I Love," but I don't love it either. It just kind of sits there on the album. I'm crazy about "Fighting Spirit" though. I think part of the appeal for me, are the chimes.

"Super Pop" is good up to a point... but then she gets a little hung up (pardon the pun) on the whole "if I were the president" stuff, and she loses me.

[MacMan]

Yeah, Super Pop shouldn't have been on the album for sure...It can stay a b-side or what ever it is. It has elements of Hung Up in it... And the dog barking doesn't do anything for it either... I'm happy with the 12 on the cd as it is...

I'm obsessed with Jump right now!

[RavenOfRhiannon]

Amen! I was hoping Jump would be the next single, but Sorry is a great choice also.
