Yeah, those autographed items are always a bit suspect.

Hm, while the poster is great, I don't really like that picture of Stevie. That whole shoot reminds me of Alicia Silverstone too much, for some reason, and so I have never been able to get into those pictures, even though she looks awesome.

Speaking of which, I finally convinced my live-in sister that I can hang up a Fleetwood Mac poster in the entrance hall, and since the The Dance photo style really only matches the colors of my walls and drapes (she refused anything black) I need to get my hands on one. Anybody know where I can order it maybe?

Keep checking eBay, they pop up fairly regularly at decent prices -- that's where I got mine, which hangs in my bedroom over my desk, *sigh, gazes* I love my Dance poster...

Failing that, The Dance promo is available here: http://www.purplemoon.com/stevie_nicks_poster.html

But I've never ordered anything from this seller, so I don't know if they're reputable or not...

eBay I'd say is your best bet.

Hope this helps

I actually like the hair, the outfit, the "mood" of this photoshoot. It reminds me of Stevie getting back to the desert. As far as the autograph, and I don't claim to be an expert, but from my calculations I'd give it an 85% chance of being authentic.

I love that photo too. Should have used it for the cover of the album. The signature looks suspicious to me. It looks like her writing, but it almost looks choppy, like someone was copying it.

This I agree with... That's probably my favorite pose from that photo session... and I love that pic and have always wanted a poster of it. I have the other one where she's standing there with her arms open abit.. and it's a redish tint, still a great pic, but this one takes the cake.

Sorry to those that have "heard this one before", but I love to tell it!

In 1994, I was newly married and unsure hubby understood my hardcore Stevie fandom. I was on Holiday w/ my folks in Hawaii when I found the only record store on the island. The had the b&w poster on display with Nirvan's Heart Shaped box posters as well. They had taken the "human heart" graphics and cut them out of the Nirvana posters, and had them taped to this one Stevie b&w poster!!!! I went up to the merchant and was like I MUST have this poster. The guy was like sure, give me your name, and when we take it down you can have it. I was like, no you don't understand, tourist...must have NOW. After much hemming and hawing, and gentle removal of the Nirvana hearts, it came down, into my arms (LMAO) and was carried ever so gently on my lap, across the ocean back to SF.

Upon my return and showing hubby my great prize (and pathetically the peak perk of my trip...pretty sad when SN beats out scenic Hawaii) he says to me, "there is a SN Street Angel poster at the record store in the mall, and the whole time you have been on vacation I have been trying to get it for you, cept it's in color!" Try as we might, we couldn't get the color one from the record store, as some girl that worked there was a SN nut as well. I finally got it on Ebay years later. (Marital sealer for hubby's attempt!)

I love both posters, and color next to b&w on display is gorgeous! There are 2 versions. One w/ the date, one w/out. Super awesome. Some of the few great SA era pics. Also the 2 beat the ugly "pink" (enlarged cover...WAY Pepto pink)SA poster. Blech! BORING!

IMO unless this person or someone else is very good at forging I would say that is the real deal.

I personally don't think it's real.
