I'm sure this question has been posted many times which is probably why no one has replied you. But, you're new and us Addicted Ledgies should be supportive of your posts. It's a scary board at first and it feels sh*tty when no one replies you

Anyways...my favorite FM song (and favorite song of all time) is Sara. I love that song. It is the song I would take to a deserted island, the song I would listen to over and over again in a padded cell, and the song that gets me through a lot of hard times.

"Why" is my favorite Fleetwood Mac song. It's one of my favorite songs by anyone ever. My favorite non-Christine McVie Fleetwood Mac song is "Hypnotized".

For me, nothing in Fleetwood Mac's catalogue comes close to the transcendence of "Why." It's like a miniature symphony with a number of different movements, each of which comprises its own little slice of heaven. Christine's lyrics are lovely as is her vocal, the production is just perfect - not too sparse, not too busy, with plenty of room for all of the instruments to breathe and find their place - and of course, Bob Weston's intro is just a beautiful, beautiful bit of music.

Beyond that: "Rattlesnake Shake" from the second Boston Tea Party disc ranks pretty high with me as another little bit of transcendence, and "Go Your Own Way" is pop-rock studio perfection, as is "Dreams," and, well, nearly all of Rumours, of course.

If I start to name anymore, I think I'll run through half the catalogue before I stop.

I haven't listened to Heroes in a good long while, but there's some great stuff on there. "Silver Heels" has always been a favorite of mine, and Christine's songs are all quite nice, especially "Come A Little Bit Closer" and "Prove Your Love."
