No idea; whoever played on TISL. Sound perfect for that album. Sounds like it was left off TISL, she brought it to FM and they just "plunked" it down on the album as is.

Yeah, but Fleetwood Mac in concert now doesn't sound like Fleetwood Mac, either (because there are more people onstage playing who aren't in the band than who are). So EFO wouldn't sound out of place in their set. It would just sound like another big hardware anthem, only faster tempo.

Lasso dance!!! Stevie and the backup singing girls need to learn some ASL (American Sign Language) and come up with some meaningful moves..

I just listened to SYW today, and I can definitely hear this vibe as well. But by the same token, I can't imagine Lindsey or Stevie changing their writing/recording styles very much at this point (unless they actually do write some songs together, as one or both of them said at one point a couple years ago, though I doubt that will ever actually happen). So I guess that begs the question: Is the idea of Fleetwood Mac front by Lindsey and Stevie a particularly viable or desirable option at this point in all of their careers? Or should they just move on?

As for a live EFO, I agree that it would cook live if they could pull it off, but I don't think Stevie is able or willing to get out of the comfort zone needed to make it work.
Oh, well, no, of course not, Stevie's clearly not willing to get out of her comfort zone enough to perform the song period. But, you know, if we're just fantastizing about the idea that she still takes herself seriously as a relevant and dynamic singer and performer (I know, it's a stretch), it sounds pretty awesome in my head.

I would love them to find a producer that tells the 5 of them to go into the garage at one of their houses, learn eachother's songs, and when they can play them beginning to end front to back, then go into the studio for 1, maybe 2, days to record it, and be done with it. This 9 months to make an album and all this production work and overkill is not what we want. No wonder why Christine was tired of it all. At their age, one or more of them could drop dead before a new album comes out. They are d@mn musicians; go make some music!

Same here. I had fantasies of her doing Sisters Of The Moon like back in the old days on the last tour. (((SIGH))))

I'm sure the rest of the band is playing on the song. The drumming is Mick's best in my opinion. This is a link to the Enchanted Mistress website that is currently hosting a different mix of the song. They identify it as an "early mix" of EFO. But I've heard this before and I believe it is the Everybody Finds Out center channel mix from the DVD audio. Some of the music is pulled out of it and you can really hear Lindsey signature guitar style in the song.

Really do you think they would have plunked a song down from Stevie's solo work without adding to it or maybe "fixing" it? Preposterous.

Of course! Why do you think I bitch so loudly when she consistently fails to live up to my fantasy expectations (which I think lie well within the realm of her actual capabilities)?

My answer is no. I'm not a big Lindsey fan, but I think he should work on solo albums. Even if they don't sell well, they will likely be critically acclaimed, and he can end his career with some nice works of art out there.

Stevie should just do whatever it is she wants to do, which is probably play some shows in Vegas with the same setlist and go into semi-retirement. Hopefully she will do another solo album, but I'm less and less confident of that as time goes on.

I think the only desirable option for FM would be if Lindsey and Stevie cowrote songs, but as you say, that is very unlikely. The other option would be for Christine to return for a farewell tour.
