Hennigan wants kids to be in school as long as parents are at work. I seriously don't think the school day needs to be longer. I read up on her last nite and I don't like her style. She is combative but doesn't really have anything to bring to the table except she knows where every pothole is and will have them filled. That would be nice.

It's weird because I *like* Hennigan and have voted for her for City Council. I think she's a very sincere person (and I give her major props for her "mammography van" ). But she's been as crazy as bat**** during this mayoral race. The school thing is a perfect example. It's kind of weird that she feels that way because she used to be a teacher, and I'd also like to know how she's going to come up with the funding to extend school hours like that. If she can come up with more comprehensive plans and runs again next time, I might vote for her.

Potholeweb is priceless, though. Only in Massachusetts.
