Prosecutor secures indictment in CIA outing case, lawyers say
Rove was offered a deal when his lawyer met with Fitzgerald Tuesday, but did not accept, the sources said. Fitzgerald has sought indictments to charge Rove with perjury and obstruction of justice, they asserted.

An eleventh-hour deal could help Fitzgerald "build a strong case against some very senior officials in the office of the vice president," one attorney said.

Please let this happen. I'll wait another month, another year even, if this happens.

Me thinks that will never happen because Rove is guaranteed a Presidential pardon no matter what happens, so why should he take a deal

I'm sure he'll also be well compensated for his silence.

Plus, he knows where all the skeletons are buried -- so they have far more to fear from him, though he is the leader IMO.

hmmm an open manhole cover and a banana peel strategically placed (accidentally on purpose of course) might not come amiss....
howzabout divebombing Junebugs equipped with sacs of bat guano?
or: accidentally spray the hapless Rove, Cheney et all with lion pheromones?
and then fly them into the savannah and start yer cameras?
a pit of vipers? a gauntlet of scorpions?

If it happens. Oh well.

Sorry Rove buddy...you're own your on.

I mean it doesn't really affect the Bush white house one way or another. He can't exactly help Bush get elected for a third term! It's a big issue inside the beltway, but not really all that important IMO.

Another neocon
Not from the city
Gave me an allergy
Well, you can see them
Drinking the poison
Taking it happily
They're running wild...

That's not what the article says.

As I told you before, Fitz is going to seek an extension. Rove isn't off the hook, he's going down.

I've already posted that article, Brandon. You might actually want to read these things before you swipe them from Freep Republic.
It the one that you posted this reply to:

He got it from Freeperville. I already posted the same article with its correct header a few posts up.

Oh my. I ventured over there the other day (yes, I'm still in recovery) and was delighted to see them ripping Coulter and Malkin to shreds. They're losing it big time.

Even if he is. Oh well, he is on his on. Sorry Rove, pal.

If this had happened during Bush's first term...I would have said “oh this is huge.” But it seems almost unimportant now. Let me clarify by saying that I think it is important in so much as I don't see it affecting the Bush administration or the country in any large factor.
