Could be!
Who knows?
There's something due any day;
I will know right away,
Soon as it shows.
It may come cannonballing down through the sky,
Gleam in its eye,
Bright as a rose!

Who knows?
It's only just out of reach,
Down the block, on a beach,
Under a tree.
I got a feeling there's a miracle due,
Gonna come true,
Coming to me!

Could it be? Yes, it could.
Something's coming, something good,
If I can wait!
Something's coming, I don't know what it is,
But it is
Gonna be great!

The rumor I heard is that he wants to widen the investigation and will ask for an extension.

He gets an automatic six month extension if he asks, so it could very well happen.

What I was saying though is that I doubt he will even ask. However I could be wrong.

Special prosecutor is focusing on whether presidential adviser Karl Rove committed perjury in CIA leak probe, sources tell CNN.

Then he's already been indicted because only one side of this is leaking and it's the attorneys for the accused. I'll bet you.

I cannot WAIT to see how W and the posse handle this. Will they go the Kay Baily way and say perjury is just so pesky - will he fire Rove - will he blow up the Empire State building

That's just the thing. Who knows?

I also heard that they may do a Friday afternoon announcement as they would like the markets to be closed. I must say, I am all for that.

If that is the logic, then this is huge and Cheney is likely to be indicted.

Don't get our hopes up.

Nah, he won't fire him. After all, when it came out that Rove was indeed involved, didn't he change his previous statement about firing anyonw involved in the leek, to firing anyone convicted of leaking the information? Perjury isn't the same, afterall. It's just some pesky technicality... at least when it's a Repubican being charged!

Seriously, though, from what I've been reading, it's already been decided that if Rove or Libby are indicted, they will resign. I don't think it matters what the charge is. But we shall see. The suspense is killing me!

If they are indeed worried about the markets, then it would have to be the name of a high ranking elected official. I do not think that many people know or care about Rove or Libby. On the hand, they all know Cheney and clearly he passed the name on and he has been exposed as lying about his relationship or knowing about Wilson prior to that.

Also, what about Tenet? he passed the name to Cheney. Why did he do that? What possible reason could there be for that at that time?
