Spin away, it's what you're best at. Too bad the facts are not on your side.

Well, you said she never said he was not a hero and she said it twice, no matter what else she said, esp. in hindsight. You are wrong here so just admit it or look like a fool, which you seem to enjoy doing

That's funny considering liberals are the one who LIED about how he lost his limbs and she was just being honest about it!

Stating the truth will always get you in trouble!

Hello - the day ends in AY

Again, she had the nerve to suggest that a man in a combat zone who took the brunt of a live gernade off of the actual Vietnamese battle field was not a hero and was lucky because he did not lose his limbs somewhere else. That is some sick ****te.

Well, yes that was my fault. I should have been more specific and gone back and checked the two Cleland articles (I thought I knew them all by heart, man! ). She never claimed that he didn't serve honorably...

She didn't suggest it, she stated it outright.

"He was no hero. He blew himself up." & "Cleland was no war hero, but his sacrifice was great."

It doesn't get much clearer than that.

No, they said he lost them in Vietnam, which is true. They also said he lost them in a combat zone, which is true. If they said he actually lost them on the battle field while engaging the enemy who was right in front of his that is false, but no one said that.

Interestingly, do you think Max Cleland is not a hero? If so, you are a cruel person indeed and a hypocrite because I do not see you recelntly gay and mostly priviledged a$$ fighting for your country right now.

But it's her free speech!

I suppose free speach only matters when you are a moonbat, wishing the current President dead, burning the flag, etc...

That's interesting considering MOST young Bush supporters ARE in the army. At least more than those who voted for Kerry! They are way too busy protesting!
