The funny thing is: when we had snow & high 20-degree temps for Xmas last year, everyone I saw was running around all day in jeans and long-sleeved shirts playing in the snow. And the week before, we were in the '80s, so they couldn't use the "I'm used to it now" excuse...

Mmm. I like snow. But I wouldn't want to live in it much. It is about an hour from my door here most of the year. Hard to believe in LA, but true. I go up and play there in December.

I'm in New England, so you know what that means...

It's mudding outside.

We got snow here for one day last year. People were trying to make snowmen out of less than an inch of snow.

I hate summer. I would love to have lots of snow this year, but we don't get nearly enough. It's usually that damned freezing rain!

Suck.

When I lived in Washington 2 years ago it was the first time I had lived around snow. Winter was hell on earth. In conclusion, thank god I live in California.

Talking Hurricanes do all kinds of strange stuff.

It is 7:00 am here (I should be in the shower..but when I saw snow...just had to respond)
Anyway it is pouring rain right now-winds are 25-30 mph and they (National Weather Service) are telling us, beside the high winds warning and the flood warnings for tonight..."Expect 1-3 inches of snow, overnight"

I just love it here- It always changes.
There is an old new england expression:

Don't like the weather?...wait 10 min..

(inuendo, it will change-for my Ledgie pals in Ca or Tx that might not get that little joke

Everyone stay warm and dry

Diss, look what you've done! Today's Boston forecast:
...
Tonight: Periods of rain before 3am, then snow likely. Low around 36. Windy, with a north wind between 24 and 33 mph, with gusts as high as 43 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%.

Wednesday: A chance of rain and snow showers before 9am, then a chance of rain showers. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly sunny, with a high around 46. Breezy, with a northwest wind between 16 and 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Gah, it is in the forecast already! I am not ready!
