I love Maria Bello. I hope she gets more good roles, she's got the juice.

Yes! The ending is so ironic and shocking that my jaw was on the floor. The sexuality in it is one of the most disturbing elements. It has, quite possibly, the most uncomfortable sex scene ever filmed. It's chilling. Grace's character develops into something that I didn't expect.

Oh my. Well, "uncomfortable sex scenes" are what Von Trier does best. Have you seen The Idiots? Krikey.

Speaking of 'Dancer In The Dark,' it took me 3 days to get through that movie. I just couldn't take it. I knew what was coming and the dread coursed through me violently and sadly. But I love the film.

Bjork was amazing, no? Of course Von Trier put her through the mental/emotional ringer as is his style, but he got a stellar performance out of her. Same with Nicole Kidman in Dogville.

Yeah, again, what's the point here? Still questioning his ethos...

Björk was amazing, as always. So real.

As for Nicole in Dogville...not as strong a performance. Not sure she was quite right for the part.

Josh is such a liar. He doesn't like any of these movies, especially "arty farty" (his words) movies.
He told me his favourite movies of all time were Billy Madison, The Land Before Time IV and Baby's Day Out. I swear.

Oh I thought she was fantastic. Especially her character's about face at the end, which I relished of course .
