Oh yeah! And since the margin of error is 3% it could be argued that he has a negative approval rating amongst black people (-1%). Someone wrote this into Stephanie Miller this morning.

2%. WOW. It actually sunk in, that is insane. I'm so sad about all of this. How many ways can Bush rape and pillage this country? Hopefully no more.

Ohhh, thanks for enlightening me on that, I was not aware. So I'm sure he isn't the only one.

That's George for ya. A uniter, not a divider.

And Miller has been cracking me up lately!!!

I haven't listened to the whole recording yet, but when the song first came out I heard bits of it on NPR (I think) and I was just glad to hear it spelled out so plainly. "Bush doesn't care about poor or black people" was the first thing I thought when the news started reporting the disaster. I had just seen the "Hotel Rwanda" (see this movie!) and the lack of relief for New Orleans immediately reminded me of the scene with where Nick Nolte's character tells Don Cheadle's character why nobody will be coming to help them.

That's right because republicans hate black people.

I was talking about Bush, our (P)resident, not his party.
I don't think I really need to tell you this...well, I guess I do: "not caring" about, and "not liking", are not the same as "hating" though the results may be the same. There is a phrase often used to refer to buildings called "demolition by neglect" and it works pretty well to describe what happens to communities who are ignored as well.

When I think about Bush's attitude toward the poor, or towards poor black communites, I don't actually think of him as a Republican (I don't care whether you believe me on this or not) I just think of him as a spoiled rich kid, with no empathy, a whole lot of ignorance and a whole lot of arrogance. I would love for him to prove me wrong.
Obviously some Republicans care about black people, some Republicans are black people, and some Democrats don't care about black people.

I didn't even have that much. 3 drinks over 3 hours !
But I was terribly distracted by this little hunk a burnin hunk next to me in the bar last night. Lord Have Mercy. I tell ya, lately if a guy is under 5'8" and under 26, he is getting my attention. Don't ask me why. And 22 year olds are all over me. WTF ?
Full moon I guess.

No facelift, but the knee thing works. I've really been having an aggressive, brute vibe going on lately.
