Speaking of skinheads, yesterday in the mail we got a flyer or two from "White Revolution" telling us to "Stop being human sheilds for Israel" and asked if we were ready to "Fight a holy war on our own soil". We had a good laugh. Silly skinheads.

Off topic, but I had to share.

I think they are being sarcastic there because the actual couplet is:

Now Watergate does not bother me.

Does your conscience bother you, tell the truth.

The nutbags have been trying to colonize in Boston for ages. Skinheads, Scientologists, ****ty politicians, etc. I'm so excited for the elections next year, though, because MA has moved so far to the left that everyone is ready to give the old politicians the heave-ho and stick progressives in their places. It's a wonderful time to live here, that's for sure.

Nantucket kicks ass. I've stayed there for many summers at my aunt's house. Winters royally suck, though.

Nobody in my family has any taste. My aunt has a gigantic velvet painting of Elvis hanging above her couch. I probably shouldn't admit that this is the kind of DNA I've got coursing through my veins.

No. You confused me even more with that post.

I thought maybe I would be transfered there, which I would love as I love Boston. I even looked at apartments on Beacon Hill and in Cambridge. But, that kind of fell through. But, this Georgia peach would gladly fly away to Boston in a minute!!!!!

Ah. Yes. But the song is still ass.

Before Jason jumps in with a wiseass remark, let me just say that I don't have any of Mapplethorpe's dirty photos hanging on any wall in my apartment. Only clean ones.

My sofa is in the middle of the room - so only air is above it

I have an ersatz collection of art. I found these three paintings my mom (an artist of some merit) did in the 40's. So, I have those up. Then I have this incredible painting of the Med. coast line that my mom gave me. I've got a lot of other stuff too, including sone Chinese etchings and a few arch. renderings. My place is not that large, but I have a bunch of stuff crammed into it.
