I think it's about someone's sexuality. He is not completely sure, but his friend, Sister Honey will help him make up his mind.

The rumour that was going around 15 years ago was that Les Dudek (born in Rhode Island, by the way

) told a fan or two that Stevie called something private 'Sister Honey" and he said that she should write a song about it.
There is an interview where Stevie does say "I can't write a song about that" But she never says just what 'that" is.

I think that it could be one of her writing around sex songs.

That line could also refer to a cocaine addiction as well though really, as in you know bending over to take some lines and your hair gets in the way.

I've always thought is was a sexual song, but the drug refreences make a little more sense. If it was a coke song, it seems like she'd sound a little more upset, as she did in "battle", "best i can", "etc etc. interesting! plus, the "she'll go fast" lines just remind me of her speeding around, so it could be about drugs.
