Preach it. "Roxanne" is probably the most well-done scene in the entire movie. Extremely effective.

There's a new chinese musical called Perhaps Love (jealousy, tango, lonely angry man singing among the elements) where they pratically copied it, but it works well also in their version

I think they are smoking hot when they looked at each other when singing "how wonderful life is - while you're in the world" - sighes.

I also have to saw Phantom was very well done and ER's voice without flaw - though Minnie Driver stole every scene she was in and that wig needed a crane to put on

Also, had Lupone done Evita - well words cannot really describe how wondersful she would have been in it.

I was just getting ready to post that poor Evita hasn't received a vote. I did enjoy both the film and Madonna's performance. But I am a big fan of hers, so....

Very interesting. You guys are great.

I must admit to having a huge, unhealthy, distasteful LOVE for 'Xanadu.'

The movie was great and the augmentation to the score was brilliant - the key of C for Esther was a little much though she did a great job with what little voice she had/has. In the end, I give it a B+.
