BTW - I love cashmere for my sweaters. What about you? And if cashmere, what ply - I do not mind 2 ply.
Yes, cashmere is the best! Unfortunately, my pocket book can't afford it very often. I only own a couple cashmere sweaters. I actually like chenille sweaters as well -- it's so soft! It can look kinda cheap, though, depending on how it's made. It usually doesn't leave lint in my belly button, though, so that's a plus!

The smug cynicism that pervaded every second of that movie was too distracting for me to really notice anything else. By the time the grand finale came with an overabundance of pebble-like tits and full-on bush taking up each inch of the screen, I was questioning Altman's sanity. He's surely made some dead-on-arrival duds in his career, but he must have been more hopped up than Whitney after a weekend of freebasing with Bobby to think that there was anything remotely noteworthy or interesting in that bore of a movie. The best scene was when Basinger went ape**** after all of the Twiggy clones paraded out onto the catwalk fully nude. I think she summed up the audience's feelings towards the whole affair...and maybe that was the point.

Woo hoo!! Definitely!

Let's see... what are some other good drinks? My standard drink is cranberry and vodka. Oooo ... and apple martinis. I tend to like the frou frou drinks!

My new Ferragamo suede slate blue boots are pretty fab. But, Cole Haan horse bits take the cake for me!!!!!!!

In the end, though, my cowboy boots (four pairs) are always the most comfortable

The thing about cashmere for me is I want to buy it as soon as I see it in the retail stores. But, I have found $1,000 sweaters on sale for $50 at Marshalls or TJ Maxx before. So, I usually check there first. In fact, I spent like $200 at TJ Maxx the other day and figured it was like $2,000 retail

I like Chenille blankets - but sweaters out of it are not really my deal.

I tend to agree with you on that, for the most part. I got sick on rum and coke once, and couldn't drink anything with rum in it for the longest time. Heck, I couldn't even drink coke for the longest time after that!

But I do like strawberry dacquiris! The banana ones aren't bad either, as long as they use real bananas. I've had them with "banana flavoring", and they taste nasty!

So, speaking of getting sick on a drink... are there any drinks you're now turned off of after getting sick? Or even foods? I have a friend who can't eat bow tie shaped noodles anymore, because she got sick after eating a dish with them once!

Yeah, I definitely have to find them on sale in order to afford them. I used to buy stuff like that from Overstock.com, but I'm boycotting them now cause they sold me a bad camera, and wouldn't give me a refund or honor my warranty until I got the BBB involved!

I had a Chenile blanket once that I loved. But it had the fringe on it, which my cats liked to play with, and they destroyed it.

So what's your favorite "seasonal" clothing? I love fall and winter clothes, such as sweaters and coats. Which is ironic for me, because I can't stand cold weather. And now that I'm down in Texas, I won't be able to wear them as many months out of the year. Up north, you can wear them about 9 months out of the year!

Well, one time in band camp

Actually, it was like when I was a junior in high school and my friends went to 7-11 and got Big Gulps with Seven up in them and halfway filled. We then poured a HUGE amount of Seagram's Seven in them. After who the hell knows how many, I puked for hours while simultaneously singing the Go Go's (face down the toilet mind you ) just to piss of my friends who hated them. No more 7 and 7's after that

A video tape exists of this BTW

Well, when I weighed 190 pounds and modelled clothing, I LOVED swimsuit season

My fav. now probably is this time of year as it is cool enough to wear just about anything except huge winter clothes

What are your fav.'s by him?

I LOVED Cookie's Fortune and Gosford Park (Maggie Smith deserved an award for that).

I only wish it would cool off here... it's been 99 degrees every day this week! I'm going back to Chicago next weekend. I'm looking foward to it being cooler there, but am afraid that it might be a 30+ degree drop from what it is here!

Chilli's makes a fantastic frozen rasberry margarita. It is sooo good.

My standard is Captain and Coke. I like gin and tonic too. A good espresso martini is to die for, especially if you are tired. It gets the party started! I have a new favorite bartender who is very creative with the martinis. Therefore, I am only allowed to go there once in a blue moon.

I'll have to try the rasberry margarita next time I'm there. That sounds good!

Have you ever had a chocolate martini? They're pretty good (especially when made with Godiva chocolate). But I can only handle one of those in an evening. Too paranoid about getting sick on them. Not only would that be disgusting coming back up, but I probably wouldn't be able to eat chocolate again for years, and I love chocolate too much to take that risk!

I loooove cashmere. You can get it at Filene's after Christmas for a really good price. I'm all about cashmere cardigans but I only have 2. Plus one crew neck cashmere sweater which is so lovely next to my skin. I would love the luxury of a cashmere robe.

Oh yes, I've had the chocolate kind! I like the brown ones, sometimes they make it with clear liquer and it just isn't as good. I ordered one in Vegas at the asian place in Caesar's and it was a good conversation starter, hehe. Soo good!!!

You gotta try the raz marg, you won't regret it! Oh I want one now! Hehe.
