Incredible setlist, but the other two are just better.

Default Round & Round #9: The Enchanted tour.

Just heard a few boots from this, enough to judge for me. Hope I'll get to see that Woodstock show one day.

Notice on the WWD tour she sang ALL of the songs in the original key. Not just one. For that reason, take Enchanted away!

It's hard to vote off a tour with Sleeping Angel, a rather long setlist for Stevie, and great storytelling in between songs. But it doesn't come close to early 80's Stevie.

She was way hotter in 81-83 (not that she wasn't hot in 98 but not as hot) and I'm really tired today so that's the best reason I have.

"Twisted" was the highlight for me. Great tour but the other two are just better.

I agree! My vote would have been for the WH tour, WWD tour would be a very close second!

LOL - when she actually sang the notes instead of speaking them incoherently Also, Dreams has been lowered since around Tusk as has Rhiannon. Sara may also have been lowered for WH, but I have not heard it from that tour in a long time.

And what's wrong with that, I might ask?!

You sure, strandy? I don't think so. I think they've always been in A minor & F major, respectively. I think it's just the timbre of her voice has grown deeper, which sometimes can make it sound as if the actual key of the particular number has dropped.

I was listening to the video of Philadelphia March 1977 today, & I noticed that Landslide was in G major. What's it in these days? Eb (which is a drop of two whole steps)?

She has kept (or more exactly, her musicians) Gypsy in F major all these years, probably because when she sings "So I'm back/To the velvet UNDERGROUND" that's about as low as she can go. Personally, I wish she'd move it up a whole step, to G, so that she isn't scraping rock bottom.

Likely that is it - same key sung lower. I just listen to Dreams from Rumors and some Tusk shows and then on BD and WH, she is not singing in that high range. But, it could be the same key as key and octave are not the same, etc. - mea culpa
