Thumbs up The Killers

Anyone else grooving to The Killers 'Hot Fuss' CD? When I first heard it I was not blown away. But damn did this album grow on me. I'm really loving it.

I 100% love Andy, You're A Star. Song ROCKS.

Gonna give them a try live in October here in California.

Hmm, I've heard alot about them, never gotten much of a chance to hear most of their stuff, but from what I've heard they're not too bad.

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE them. "All These Things That I've Done," especially. The lyrics to that one are painful ("I've got soul but I'm not a soldier"). I think he has a nice voice, but can someone please explain that ridiculous fake accent that he insists on using?

The video for "Mr. Brightside" with Eric Roberts kicks some major ass, though.

Hey! I haven't thought about going to any of their shows, but it sounds cool.

My brother bought the album, and I'm hooked.

I like them sometimes, and bored with them others. I can't decide. I do own the album, though.....

Yes, I love The Killers. More than Franz Ferdinand. (Not really - I just had to get that in to spite Josh)

But really tho, I <3 them. I want a new album from them. And Brandon Flowers is extreamly hot, for the 1,000th time.

I am going mental waiting for the new album. I can't take it anymore. Just got a boot from a show they did a couple of weeks ago with lots of the new songs ("This Boy" is so fantastic) and October 4th cannot get here fast enough.

I liked the Killers when they were still kinda "indie" but the more exposure they got, the less I liked them. When I hear something too much, I withdraw. I listened to the album quite a bit when it first came out and really liked it.

I saw them in concert a few month ago and that pretty much sealed the deal for me. They had no stage presense and the new material they performed was very dull.

So, I gotta say, I'm ovahhhh the Killahhhhs

As far as modern bands go, I've castmy lot with the Stereophonics. But there are more than enough fans of the Killers to go around.

I can relate. That happened with me when I saw Interpol live.
