You can listen to a clip of the song at www.elizabethtown.com !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SUPER short clip, but you can get the idea.

EEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

Here are the lyrics (hope I get this right!)

"...even after all these years
I can't even see you clear
a child was born, another dies..."

GAH! I wanna hear more!

Awww...it sounds soooo good! <333

Is this the same as CVB? I didn't download it.

wondergirl9847 · #3 08-31-2005, 11:02 PM

It doesn't sound anything like the CVB song. Of course, we didn't get to hear his chorus, but I think he wrote this himself.

WOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep!

Awesome! Finally something to look forward to. It doesn't sound anything like the CVB song.

johndoe · #8 08-31-2005, 11:48 PM

Okay, that's a lot of fast forwarding to find it... and there's a lot of Nancy Wilson, whoever she is. Okay, don't like murder me, but I find that song to be slightly disapointing. Like its sounds kind of, blandish. I dunno, maybe its just the clip that's bad.

Or maybe I'm tired...

wondergirl9847 · #9 08-31-2005, 11:56 PM

Do you like Say Goodbye or Red Rover?

Nancy Wilson is 1/2 of the band Heart...well, sorta half. LOL She's part of the group Heart...you know, Ann and Nancy Wilson and she's married to Cameron Crowe.

Those are the first two songs that came to mind when I heard the clip.

johndoe · #11 08-31-2005, 11:57 PM

I liked Red Rover but not Say Goodbye. I dunno, maybe if I hear the full version, I'll like it better.

I'm really all over the place with some of Lindseys stuff. Like I love most of it, but there's some stuff, where I'm like "Oh...okay..."

wondergirl9847 · #12 08-31-2005, 11:58 PM

That's why I asked John if he liked those songs, because they are VERY reminiscent of those two songs. If you don't like them, you probably won't like this song. That's Lindsey's sound these days, I'd imagine. Stripped down...sweet gawsh, just tour already Lindsey, I'm dying here!!!!!

It's very stripped down. I'm dying to hear the verses....I bet the lyrics are to die for!

On a scale of 1 to 10, my fandom for him is around a 6....I want him to tour by himself soo soo sooo sooooo bad, so he can rise to like an 8 or 9....I wanna be a BUCKwheat!
