cities bands play in

I was just thinking about this. DOes it bother anyone that for example when bands play in outlying areas (CHula Vista/ San Diego) they list the bigger city on their tour shirt? I think in some ways I'd like the actual city the venue is in listed on the shirt, I'm just curious as to what others think.
