Are you jumping up and down for Bonnie's new album, Suze? I am.
Yes yes! I've been listening to her new one on BOS and loving it. must.have.more.bonnie

Have you seen her live? It is very special because Cambridge is where she found/became the blues and she feels like she is coming home when coming here.

Yeah, I love that about her. And she's just plain beautiful, too. The only thing is that I saw live in New Orleans and I have to say it was a very unexciting show. I wanted her to do something new, not just literally like a new song (which she did do) but something she hasn't done, but that never happened. Not that she couldn't sing and play, it's just that I guess I prefer her on the album. Besides, she didn't really do anything that I couldn't get from listening to the albums.

One day, it just might happen. But if someone asks I'm going to say, "Wasn't me." Or, I'll just take you to see Stevie!

To me, ani isn't boring cause she's low key (which is why I find Norah boring, pretty voice, though) but because she always sings in that same way, which isn't low key to me, but the same anyways.

Yes! She's fantastic live, one of the most natural performers in the world. So laidback and at ease, and that voice is effortless. You can see how much she loves her music just by the way she plays.

Liza was on fire in Caberet - and there never really has been another like her since. Also, watch her version of "Back in Business" where she dances on a piano that is fantastic.

The whole disc is fab. and Lupone BELTS "Being Alive" - which was IMO the showstopper.

I have this somewhere. I should post it

If that means I get to watch Red Rocks while I'm in your trunk, then I'll agree to it.

I haven't noticed that. Sometimes she almost talks, sometimes she sings, sometimes she screams.

Well, I don't know. The talking and screaming are less prevalent than that quiet sort of singing she does, so I guess you have a point. I just think it's really emotive. But I stand corrected.

She really does nothing for me. She was the big honoree on the GLAAD Media Awards and they were salivating allll over her. She said she would "do a song" and proceeded to butcher "What Makes A Man A Man?" by speaking the entire song because her voice is so thrashed she can't sing anymore. Pathetic.

yeah. I dunno, her voice usually sounds that same "spiky" to me. even when she's quiet or whatever. I see why people like her, though. And she was fab live.

Damn, I saw the *worst* movie the other night with Betty Buckley. It has a funky title, but I can't remember it, dammit. I think it was The Mummy and the Armadillo, but I could be wrong. It was bad and so ****ing boring. They could market it in pill form and put the Western civilzation to sleep.

Anyway, shout out to Victor Garber because I <3 him so.

Damn, even people who don't really like her have seen her live and I haven't! And doesn't she perform all the time? And she lives in New Orleans. I'm going to go over there and knock on her door and ask for a private concert.
