Default Bob Barker

When I was out in California for the Stevie shows, I got a chance to see Bob's star on the hollywood walk of fame. It was almost as big a thrill as seeing Fleetwood Mac's. I've watched that show since 1975, and I really wanted to try to get on it when I was out there. trouble is, I didnt decide to go until about 3 weeks before the show, and by then it was toio late to get tickets. Has anyone been on the show, and if so, what have you won?

Dude - when I saw this subject line I thought that Bob Barker had died

I LOVE the Prices is right!!! Plinko is my favorite -but then isn't that everyone's favorite

Anyway- I've never been on the show - BUT an ex-coworker of mine was on it - and she won a car!! I don't know many details about her being on the show except for that - it was a long time ago.

I love watching those blooper TV specials, when they show people falling down trying to spin that thing. It's usually tiny little old ladies, which is kinda sad in a way, but still funny as hell.

A few years ago, when they did those million-dollar TPIR specials for the 100th Anniversary ( ) of the show, they also did an outtakes special. Plus, I saw a bunch of bloopers on those old Dick Clark / Ed McMahon TV specials.

I also love when the little old ladies get all HAWT when they make it up on stage, and start molesting Bob. He always get this look on his face like, "I know I *should* be enjoying this, but...". Or when they forget to go to Contestants' Row first, and just barge on up there.

There's also an oft-run blooper of a very busty woman running down to Contestants' Row, who loses her tube top in the process. And of course - no bra. One of the other contestants runs over after a few seconds and yanks it up for her.

Ive been watching the price is right since I was born. When I was little I was sent to a babysitters whom I still love today. They were 2 old ladies with a huge family. Everyday the price is right would be on and I would watch. Plinko was my favorite game, but I did like the spelling bee one and the mountain climber game. I also think the "golden road" is a good game but I never see it anymore.

I HATE the teens who go out there and get to go on the show and they have no clue WTF they are doing. It drives me absolutely insane.

Arrow Alice..

I know! I have watched a few eps lately here and there, but when those kids get on, I get peeved. LOL They stand there for like 30 minutes looking back at their idiot friends to pick a price and Bob is all "I need a price, please." SHEEBUS!! Then, when they get to the Showcase Showdown...they don't look enthused at all at the prizes, even trips and stuff!! Beyotch, step off, I will go to Switzerland in your place!! LOL

Anyone see the episode where this old, heavyset black woman was called down and instead of going up front to stand and guess the price, she ran onto the stage and started having a hysterical fit because she was so happy. After what seemed like five minutes, Barker asked her why she was up there, she cackled, and then ran off the stage.

I practically pissed myself silly.

I can't think about Bob Barker without "Happy Gilmore" running through my mind.
